We’re beavering away behind the scenes to make sure your adventure doesn’t become a misadventure. There’s far too long a list (and far too few people interested in reading it) of all the things we do to ensure you can be completely confident when booking a trip with us but here’s a few things it’s worth knowing
Financial Protection
It’s a pretty boring read and we’d only recommend it if you’re struggling with insomnia but the Package Travel Regulations mean that anyone you book a holiday with in the UK should provide you with financial protection of any money you spend with them. There’s different ways of doing this but any booking you make with Earth Dog Travel is fully protected through financial protection with the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT). In a nutshell that means in the highly unlikely event we’re unable to provide your holiday because of our insolvency you’ll be able to claim a refund. Support Whenever You Need It
We’re pretty confident that you’ll have an incredible trip and everything will go swimmingly but naturally there are occasions when things don’t go perfectly. When you’re overseas you’ll always be able to contact us for help if there’s something the team on the ground are unable to resolve. Once you book with us we’ll make sure you’ve got our 24/7 contact number and know how to contact us if there’s anything you’re not completely happy with. Besides, we’ve found ourselves in the odd pickle ourselves…
Your Safety
We’ve spent a lot of time working with our partners and suppliers to make sure that you stay at comfortable guesthouses, only use modern vehicles, get qualified guides and aren’t exposed to unnecessary risks. Whilst the nature of our activities and itineraries mean we’re unable to completely mitigate all risks, we’ve done as much as we can to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Expert Advice
We’re not interested in sending you to a destination that’s not right for you or encouraging you to do a trip that might not be quite right. We love the countries we operate in and the trips we’ve put together. We’ll only ever sell trips in countries our founders have spent time in and our team can talk to you confidently about. If we’re not convinced a destination or challenge is quite right for you then we’re not going to do a hard-sell.
